Residential support.

A young person who flees to Germany without a family. A young person for whom home is no longer a safe place – the life stories of many young people are marked by loss, conflict or dramatic turning points. And they come to us because they need protection and support.

Our residential support services assist people who are temporarily unable to live in their familiar surroundings. What may appear from the outside to be simply a place to live is, in truth, much more: a space to settle in, to take a breather and to find a new direction – either in shared accommodation or as supported independent living.

Many of our young people have experienced trauma or are growing up in highly conflictual family dynamics. They need patience, stability and reliable relationships in equal measure. In our residential settings, we create precisely this framework: a safe daily routine, clear structures and educational support. We build self-confidence, promote education and language development, and support young people in finding their own way, step by step. Towards a self-determined life in safety.

Legal basis:

Sections 27, 41 in conjunction with Section 34 of SGB VIII, Section 35
