Mobile counselling.

With our mobile counselling service, we are right there on the ground. We reach out to families, single parents and single adults, and provide practical support in their daily lives. We discuss with parents issues relating to parenting and living together in confined spaces, offer support during conflicts in the accommodation, or help to organise and attend appointments with authorities, doctors or schools.

We help with filling in applications, explain official notices, arrange nursery and school places, or put people in touch with further support services. The aim is always to provide guidance and to develop sustainable solutions together.

Through group sessions, we also create spaces for discussion: mothers talk about parenting and the pressures they face, whilst men reflect on their situation and prospects. This opens up new avenues for action and fosters a sense of not being alone.

For many refugees, arriving means above all: waiting, enduring and not knowing what lies ahead. Daily life in accommodation centres is often characterised by cramped conditions, little privacy and ongoing uncertainty.
