As a recognised provider of independent youth welfare services, we support young people and families with dedication, expertise and a great deal of commitment. But let’s be honest: the challenges facing us and our work are growing, whilst at the same time public funding is being cut back more and more. That is why we need committed people and strong partnerships. We have been an important part of Berlin’s social services since 1997. Every year, we support more than 1,000 young people and their families in difficult situations, creating greater stability in their daily lives and supporting them on their journey towards a self-determined life. We demonstrated our ability to do this again in 2025: for example, we achieved 93% of all our targets in our work with families and 92% in our work with young people.
Our multilingual and multi-professional team brings social pedagogical, therapeutic and counselling expertise to the table. We take a solution-focused approach, prioritise stable relationships and have excellent networks within Berlin’s neighbourhoods.
We do not invest in short-term measures, but in long-term prospects – for genuine, sustainable change.
